One day we went to Bristol. Bristol is a city in England. I was with my friends. We were on a big yellow bus. My friend Joe called it a Sumbabus. We parked outside a hotel and went in. Our rooms were not ready. Once I heard a man say ‘Give it to me dirty’. That was in America. He was an Irish man.
We had to wait in the hotel for our rooms to be cleaned. We went to the bar and got some lemonade. A nice old man was playing a white piano. He was very good. Davy talked to him. His name was Bill. He is from Newcastle. That means he is a Geordie. He said he will be on the tele. A programme called ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. He said he rang Simon Cowell but he was in America.
When the nice man came with the keys for the rooms we were still drinking lemonade and we were laughing. We put our bags in the bedrooms and then we went to a restaurant for dinner. It was an Italian restaurant called Aqua. That means water in another country. The nice girl brought us some grape juice and some lovely food. I had spaghetti – it’s like long strings. There was fish and sauce on it too. Before that I had some sardines. They are smallish fish and very tasty. They have oil in them. One of the boys said the oil is good for you. Sometimes they make me burp.
We were laughing a lot and then we went to a pub and we met with our friends. They are in a band. Their singer is called Keith and the rest of the boys are called ‘Winter Promise’. They are very nice and we had some more lemonade. Conor is one of them. I know his mother and father. They are from Tuam. He is very tall. Ken is a nice fella; he looks like Ed Sheeran. All the young girls think it’s him and they want his autograph sometimes. Ken can fix helicopters! We stayed in the place until the man said he had to close it all up so we went back to our hotel then and I slept very well. I was very tired.
The End.
